This policy explains how Piya Traders, the operator of BadgeNest, handles information needed to provide and protect the app.

BadgeNest uses store and authorized staff details supplied by Shopify, product and variant information, campaign settings, plan information, security records, support checks, and optional campaign totals. It does not need order records or buyer profiles for labels and badges.
This information is used to sign merchants in, keep eligible products current, display and manage campaigns, apply plan limits, solve problems, protect the service, and provide support. BadgeNest does not use merchant or buyer data to train automated systems.
Shopify supplies platform data; Vercel hosts the web application and routes an optional merchant-written AI campaign brief to the selected model provider; Supabase hosts the application database. AI requests use provider-routing controls that require zero retention and prohibit prompt training. Data is disclosed only to operate the service, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.
Detailed campaign measurements expire; campaign totals remain for merchant reports; one-time support reports expire automatically. Uninstalling the app and Shopify privacy requests start the documented store-data deletion process.
BadgeNest encrypts data in transit, isolates each store's records, limits staff access, verifies Shopify requests, and records important account changes. Merchants can keep optional campaign measurement off and request access, correction, or deletion through the support email linked from the Shopify App Store listing.
